Where the Passion Begins

In 1988, My dad bought me a mini hoop that stood about 6' tall and sat on top of a poll with a triangular Christmas tree base.  My brother and I were basketball enthusiasts and played it just about every day for a year in the driveway. 

 

The hoop was nothing special other than the fact that an 11-year-old kid could dunk on it.  It only withstood so much abuse and inevitably broke.  I was devastated.  Our father took the remains back to the lab and rebuilt it.  We played for years to come.

 

As time passed, life happened and I went off to college and later started a career and a family.  In 2009, we had our first child.  A few years later, he was dribbling in the driveway, but couldn't quite shoot on the "big boy" hoop and MINIDUNK was reborn.  Our mission is simple:  If You Build It, They Will Dunk! But not only will they dunk, they will grow.
